Many folks have adopted the tradition of “Dry January,” taking a break from alcoholic beverages the month after the holidays. Whether it’s January or July, whether you’re cutting back on alcohol or just “dry curious,” we have two great locations where you can choose a non-alcoholic beer and sample mocktails.

Not ready to be dry? No worries – you can still choose from among a selection of great craft beers and or any other beverage offered at The Pharmacy Bottle Shop or The Walk Up cocktail bar, a bit of a Cary speak-easy (climbing a flight of stairs is required to get to this location.)

We’ll meet at The Pharmacy Bottle & Beverage, 120 E. Chatham St., Cary, then stroll over to the Downtown Cary Park where you can opt to purchase your own drink as we stroll through the park – a social district — and enjoy the scenery. Finally, we’ll head over the The Walk Up for mocktails or other beverages of your choice.

Along the way, you’ll learn about the history of Cary and some of its downtown attractions, including the park.
